Our mission is to create faith inspired apparel that boldly declares belief in Jesus Christ, inspiring believers, encouraging seekers, strengthening identity, and carrying purpose into families, communities, and everyday life.

Why We Wear Our Faith

In Scripture, clothing is often linked to identity. We are called to “clothe ourselves with Christ” (Galatians 3:27), to walk in “garments of salvation” (Isaiah 61:10), and to live as a light that is not hidden (Matthew 5:14–16). God even instructed His people to wear visible reminders of His commands (Numbers 15:38–40).

For us, what we wear is an extension of who we are. Apparel becomes a simple and honest declaration of hope, a way to walk confidently in our identity, reflect Christ, and open the door for meaningful conversation. This boldness is rooted in the Gospel we are not ashamed to represent (Romans 1:16).

What Makes Our Apparel Unique

Our T-shirts are proudly manufactured in Cape Town, South Africa, supporting local craftsmanship and ensuring quality from start to finish. Each design is created through collaboration with small business graphic designers, both locally and internationally, who share our passion for wearing faith boldly and creatively.

Every piece carries intention, care, and purpose, designed to honour God and serve people well.

How Battles & Blessings Began

Battles & Blessings was born from a simple truth: life brings battles and blessings, but as Christians we walk with confidence in Who turns every battle into a blessing.

The name was conceived during a conversation with a dear friend, rooted in a shared conviction about teaching our children what we believe, why we believe it, and how faith shapes identity. This calling grew into a faith-inspired apparel brand that also supports Gospel-centred ministry and outreach.

Our Team

Battles & Blessings is built on faith, shaped by people, and carried forward by a small but committed team serving with heart, excellence, and purpose. While intimate in size, we are intentionally positioned to grow serving communities across South Africa and supporting evangelists in the field.

Battles & Blessings is led with prayerful discernment, sound governance, and a commitment to operational excellence.

Founder

Battles & Blessings was founded by Zené Olivier, wife to an evangelist and mother of two teenage boys. Her journey is shaped by faith, family, and a conviction that faith should be lived out practically in homes, communities, workplaces, and the harvest field.
